Lease Servicing Specialist

Department: Consumer Loan Servicing
Location: Englewood, CO

Consumer Lease Servicing Specialist

The Consumer Lease Servicing Specialist will be part of the Consumer Loan Serving team. The Lease Servicing Specialist will be responsible for processing all types of consumer lease servicing requests while ensuring completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and quality member service. This position will maintain existing member relationships, provide excellent member service and efficient operational activities. The Lease Servicing Specialist will ensure adherence to the agreed upon service level agreements (SLAs) between S3 and the partner credit unions. Location: Hybrid- Englewood, CO office. Based on business needs after successful onboarding.

TOP JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process and support all types of consumer loan maintenance requests within established guidelines, policies and procedures related to account maintenance, transactions and partner follow up.
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all partner credit union operational policies and guidelines, products, and services.
  • Respond to all phone and email inquiries from internal credit union partners, third parties, and external members in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Research and resolve any lease servicing compliance issues.
  • Proactively strives to meet all agreed upon SLAs.

Other responsibilities and opportunities:

  • Assist other business lines with related Servicing requests to support favorable results within the team.
  • Ensure reports or tasks are completed and all technical issues are resolved.
  • Additional job-related projects and duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • 3 years of customer service experience required.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal laws pertaining to the consumer lending industry (i.e., ECOA, etc.) preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong customer service skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Must be able to quickly adjust to shifting priorities and act with urgency.
  • Strong analytical skills required with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Aptitude to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to problem solve and create out of the box solutions.

  • Salary commensurate with experience with a range of $45,000 - $48,000.

Work Environment- This position operates in a professional office environment. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filling cabinets and fax machines.

Constantly: Sit- Remaining in a seated position for long periods of time. Use hands/fingers for repetitive keyboard & hand motion. Speak coherently.

Emotional Effort- Occasional short deadlines. The work environment is occasionally hectic with periods of high stress.

Internal/External Interaction- Steady and ongoing with occasional periods of low volume.
