Consumer Title Processor

S3 is a Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO) which is an organization, owned by credit unions. We serve credit unions by supporting their operations and delivering world class service. We support the credit union members with their loans, deposits and other financial needs to achieve their goals.

The Consumer Title Processor will be part of the Consumer Servicing team. This role is key to ensuring the seamless end to end title process of a vehicle loan. Responsibilities include processing paid in full reports, rejections, incoming loan packages, incoming perfected titles, and completing title documents while supporting inbound and outbound calls. This position will have excellent customer service skills, an aptitude for shifting based on business needs and working collaboratively with their team and others.

Location: Onsite- Englewood, CO office

TOP JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review all assigned Title applications submitted to ensure completion of all required data with accuracy.
  • Resolve all incoming inquiries and escalation issues courteously and professionally via electronic and phone calls.
  • Responsible for processing paid in full reports daily to ensure the titles are released appropriately.
  • Review daily file audits and complete follow up tasks to resolve issues and support lien perfection.
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all partner credit union operational policies and guidelines, products, and services.

Other responsibilities and opportunities:

  • Interact with governmental agencies, dealerships, S3 and credit union partners assisting them with error resolutions, lien perfections and general title questions.
  • Review all dealer documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to funding any new loans/letters of credit.
  • Additional job-related projects and duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • 1 year of customer service experience preferred. Previous experience with titles helpful.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical skills required with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Must be able to adjust quickly to shifting priorities.
  • Aptitude to work independently and as a part of a team with a positive attitude.

Work Environment- This position operates in a professional office environment. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filling cabinets and fax machines.

Emotional Effort- Occasional short deadlines. The work environment is occasionally hectic with periods of high stress.
